is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and holds a PhD in
Political Science from Case Western Reserve University. John has worked
for the US Navy, COMSECFLT, and the US Department of Homeland Security
(TSA Office of Law Enforcement) as a Field Intelligence Coordinator and
Law Enforcement Liaison for the Cleveland Field Office. John has
consulted for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Ohio HIDTA, US
Coast Guard Intelligence, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), US
Secret Service, the Ohio Department of Public Safety and numerous state
and local law enforcement agencies.
Recently, Dr. Hatzadony served in the private sector at KeyBank NA in Cleveland, OH as an Operations Manager and Anti-Money Laundering Investigator within the Financial Intelligence Unit. John served as an in-house Subject Matter Expert in matters concerning Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) and Middle East Criminal Enterprises.
Since 2004, Dr. Hatzadony has served as an Adjunct Instructor at the Center for Intelligence Studies at Notre Dame College. John instructs students in the theories and practices of intelligence analysis and national security policy.
Dr. Hatzadony will be responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of GIA Consulting to include client development, engagement and management. John will specifically direct GIA’s Counter-Terrorist Financing Instructional Programs for the financial services and law enforcement communities.
